Hello!!

When a food particle comes near amoeba it produces finger-like projections called pseudopodia.

This pseudopodia encloses the food particle .

Then the food particle is thrown into the food vacuole.This food vacuole contains digestive enzymes.

So the food gets digested there and the nutrients are absorbed by the body of amoeba (cytoplasm).

Then the undigested food is thrown out of the body.
