  • Absorption - Absorption is the process through which the amoeba absorbs all the essential and necessary nutrients from the food .

  • Assimilation - Assimilation is the process through which the amoeba obtains energy from the food.

  • Egestion - Egestion is the process through which the amoeba throws out (removes) the residual matter from its body.
