How does an amoeba obtain its food in short answer in brainly?

Amoeba takes in food using temporary finger-like extensions of the cell surface which fuse over the food particle forming a food-vacuole as shown in figure. Inside the food vacuole, complex substances are broken down into simpler ones which then diffuse into the cytoplasm.

amoeba obtain it food by forming pesudopodia
around the food partical. The food partical gets surrounded by pesudopodia, forming a food vacuole. This is called ingestion.
Now the food partical is converted to soluble form in the food vacuole with the help of enzyms. this includs digestion.
The digested food particle easily diffuses into the cytoplasm. Itis then utilised by the cell.
This is called assimilation.
The undigested food particle is thrown out of the body. Tgis is called egestion
