THE EARTHWORMS BODY IS DIVIDED INTO SEGMENTS . EACH SEGMENT HAS A NUMBER OF SATAE OR VERY SMALL BRISTLES THAT EARTHWORM USE TO HELP THEM GRIP THE SOIL AS THEY MOVE. AN EARTHWORM MOVES BY USING TWO DIFFERENT SETS OF MUSCLES. THE EARTHWORM USES ITS CIRCULAR MUSCLE TO LENGHTEN IT AND MOVE FORWARD.

THE UNIQUE THING ABOUT EARTHWORMS MOVEMENT IS THAT EARTHWORMS STREAMLINED SHAPE ALLOWS THEM TO BURROW THROUGH SOIL. THEY HAVE NO SKELETONS OR OTHER RIGID STRUCTURES TO INTERFACE THEIR MOVEMENT.

HOPE IT'S HELPFUL !!!
