the embryo is connected to mother womb by plancenta, this is large villi network, that help in the transportation of nutrients form mother womb to embryo.

An embryo obtains nutrients for growth and development office body parts in the following way -

• Embryo is connected with it's mother by the help of the umbilical cord.

• These umbilical cords have many blood vessels which transport the necessary nutrients to the embryo and other necessary things also.

• So,we can say that the nutrients consumed by the mother is transferred to the embryo by the help of the umbilical cord.
