Miniature Circuit Breaker or M.C.B is a safety device like fuse which prevents an electric circuit from short circuiting during overloading.

It is a switch connected to the electric circuit which is automatically switched off when the current is more than the rated capacity hence breaks the circuit.

It can be switched on again manually.

It can also be switched off manually.
