1) by rubbing two bodies i.e charging by friction
2)by bringing a charged body near an uncharged body i.e charging by induction

An object becom charged by the gain of electron.The electron flows from a region of higher concentration to an area of lower concentration.
Take the example of a water pipe the water at higher concentration in the tank tries to flow out of the pipe which is at lower concentration.
