Mark Antony the most loyal friend of Julius Caesar grieves over Caesars death more so because of Brutus justfication of his treachery. Antony had known Caesar for a long time. After Brutus convinces the people that Caesar deserved death due to his ambition, Antony uses his rhetorical skills. He points out Caesars nobility and makes the citizens think if such deeds showed Caesar to be ambitious. Antony says But Brutus says he was ambitious and Brutus is an honourable man repeatedly and thereby emphasises the irony in Brutus words.
