When gases are compressed , the pressure applied on the molecules is very high and the molecules cone very close to each other , thus the gas changes and into liquid state . This is because the molecules of gases are far apart from each other whereas the molecules of liquid are close to each other. Thus pressure helps in luquification of gases.
