"The atmosphere consists of different layers which have their own characteristics to support life on earth.

They are the keen responsible for not only the air but other substance to escape into space.

They are responsible for rain-cycle which keeps the earth’s temperature, filling up ponds, continuous river flow, and forest growth.  

This is what makes life possible on earth which is the only thing that makes earth distinct from other planets in the solar system.

It also behaves as a shield by preventing UV rays not to get into the surface which is quite harmful.

It even traps solar radiation to maintain a certain temperature and acts as a natural greenhouse setup."
