atomic number increases as we move down a group and number of shells also increases so atomic radii increase down a group

Atomic raddi decrease as we move from left to right across periodic table that us when we move left to right in a period because the number of valence electron increase and the attraction between electron and the nuclear increases hence the shell shrinks towards the nucleus
