concentration, or blood glucose concetration is part of a biological mechanism called homeostasis.

Blood vessels have the ability to dilate and constrict to control body temperatre.

When body temperature is too low, the tiny blood vessels near the surface of the skin (capillaries) constrict (vasoconscriction). This decreases the blood flow near the surface of the skin so less heat is lost through radiation.

When body temperature is too high, the capillaries dilate (vasodilation), which increases blood flow near the surface of the skin and so more heat is lost through radiation.

People who are Anemic complains of being cold often. Blood regulates the body temp by carrying off excess heat generated by the internal organs to be dispersed through the skin to warm the body and if the hemoglobin level is less than normal, there is less heat generated and dispersed through the skin. The hemoglobin carries oxygen in the blood.

It doesn’t but it assists in doing this job. To reduce body temperature blood vessels open to allow more blood to the surface (skin) to allow loss of heat. If needed there will also be sweating to increase evaporation as this will further cool the skin and reduce body heat by increasing heat loss.

To retain heat less blood flows to the skin.

So to answer your question, the blood carries heat to the skin if we need to loose heat.

I hope it helps.
