Braggs reflection, also known as Braggs diffraction is the breaking of light into fractions, or different colors.

This is named after William Lawrence Bragg who introduced this concept that crystalline solids produce astonishing patterns or reflected x rays in contrast to that of liquids. In this the reflection hits certain peaks, i..e intense peaks of reflected radiation.

Ordinary reflection:

This is normal reflection of light which reflects on a smooth surface also called a specular. Moving into complicated terms, the incident ray, the reflected ray and the normal to the reflection surface at the point of the incidence lie in the same plane.
