Brutus is a great orator. He is able to convince the Roman mob the death of Caesar. He impresses upon the people of Rome that Caesar was growing too ambitious and powerful. If he was not stopped, he would become a tyrant making all the Romans as bondmen and slaves. Hence, he along with the other conspirators murdered Caesar because he loved Rome more than Caesar.

Brutus convinced the heart of Roman mob by laying several reasons which were the grounds of Caesar's assassination. He told the Romans that Ceasar was ambitious and wished to enslave them all. He mosqued Ceasar's patriotism with selfish motives and served it by misinterpreting it as his greed for the crown and power.
