This is what the surface of a soapbubble is — a thin layer of water sandwiched between the soap molecules. So, the soap has a tendency to separate the water from itself, out into these thin sheets. ... a bubble is composed of an extremely thin layer of soapy water... bubble contains air in it and forms a hollew sphere from inside
