Chemical coordination in human beings occurs through chemical messengers called hormones. It involves various endocrine and exocrine glands and their secretions, hormones. Hormones are secreted by glands directly in blood stream to act at distant sites in the body (target organs).

There are two master glands in the body - hypothalamus and pituitary gland which control the other endocrine glands

hope this helps you !☺
