China rose helps us in determining whether the substance is an acid or base by changing its colours when its dipped in acid it turns Orange whereas when it is dipped in base it is green......!!!!!

China rose helps us in determining whether the given substance is acidic or basic by seeing the result of acidic as dark pink and basic as green.
