how does democracy stand much superior to any other form of government

I democracy government works according to people and also it is elected by people whereas in any other form of government before taking any decision no advice is taken from people whether the law is good for p
eople or not
in democracy all are equal before the eyes of law but in other form of government people are discriminated on basis of caste,position,colour,etc.
people can change this when they feel that government is not working for their welfare but in other form of government people cannot change this and can't speak against their ruler
