Grass eating animals like cow which is a ruminant as a special place to store their food in their body known as rumen. During the time when they are left for grazing they quickly swallow the food and store it in rumen because they need much time to chew the grass because they contain phosphorus. After swallowing the food, the time when they rest, they bring the swallowed food back into their mouth and chew it well. Then the process of digestion takes place.
