Hi friend!!

When there is economic development and growth in a country, then the citizens of the country are said to be economically active citizens who are healthy and educated and can apply their knowledge and skills for the country's benefit...
When there's economic progress, more number of people get employed and get good jobs too... they are able to earn higher in terms of their income too..Thus they get a good salary and can serve the country in a better way...
Since more number of people get employed, there is an evident decrease in the poverty level...

Hope that helps you friend!

Economic Growth widens opportunities and provides the resources needed to invest in human development . This also encourages people to send their children , including the girl child , to schools in the hope of getting better economic returns from investing in education .

I haven't wrote it by myself but according to class 9th this should be the answer we should write in our answer sheets .
