In moving train when ball is thrown upwards it falls on same point.even train is moving why it is not applying law of inertia?

Here's and interesting twist: you didn't throw the ball straight up, you only thought you did.

Since the train, you, and the ball are all moving forward at the same speed, when you try to throw it straight up, it flies forward at an angle, because it's moving forward and up at the same time.

Now, since you're moving forward, it appears to be traveling straight up and down to you, but someone out on the sidewalk will see the ball arc up and down as you move underneath it.
