In economics, economic growth is defined as the increasing capacity of the economy to satisfy the wants of the members of society. Economic growth is enabled by increases in productivity. So when they is economic growth, wants of the countries members are met regardless of number of individuals benefiting from the growth. I think it can be assessed in both countries but mostly inevitable in developing countries that are undergoing high growth rates to match up with developed countries.
