The radius and the height of a cylinder are in the ratio 5 : 7 and its volume is 550cm3. Then its radius is

let the ratio constant of radius and height be 5x and 7x .
now,
volume = πr²h
=22/7 ×5x ×5x ×7x= 550
x² = 550/25×22
x² = 1
x=1
therefore,
radius =5x =5×1 =5
