because endocrine gland release its hormones directly in to the blood and these are also known as ductless glands

Endocrine glands are ductless glands...they secrete Hormones into blood and gets transported to target organs...
sweat glands and salivary glands have ducts through which the secretions (Enzymes etc) are secreted into the target organs....
