all he cells contain cell membrane which regulates the movement of molecules or particles in and out of the cell....exchange of gases in a cell takes place throught the process of diffusion..

diffusion is the net movement of molecules from a region of high concentration to low concentration...it is a type of passive transport...passive transport means the movement of molecules that does not require energy...

Hope it helps you..
