The feedback mechanism to check water loss in the kidneys is facilitated by a hormone known as antiduretic hormone. As soon as the osmolarity of the blood and body fluids is reduced, with more fluids being reassured by the tubules in the kidneys, the receptors in the hypothalamus are no longer stimulated and the level of Antiduretic hormone stimulation falls. This in turn sends a signal to the kidneys to start excretion more water in the urine production until the blood osmolarity increases enough for the restarting of the cycle.
