The higher fuel temperatures tend to produce higher injection pressure (Mamat et al., 2009b). When the fuel temperature is increased, the fuel density decreases. Therefore, a higher injection pressure is required to gain an equal fuel mass in order to produce the same required brake torque (Mamat et al., 2009b).
