g is suitable only in the case on earth and G is same at any place in the universe.

value of g is 9.8m/s2
and value of G is 6.67×10^-11 Nm2/kg2

g is the value of acceleration produced by a neutral body on other neutral body.
It depends upn the mass of the body which is producing this acceleration and distance between the 2 bodies.
G is a constant also known as universal gravitional constant used when the proportionality sign is removed.
