The galvanized iron has got his name when a zinc coating is applied over iron and it helps the iron particles from rusting hence preventing corrosion.

Explanation:

  • The galvanization is a process in which a coating of zinc is applied over the iron particles in order to prevent the iron from rusting.
  • In addition to this, the galvanization process acts as an anti rusting agent which prevents the iron substances from the corrosion activities.
