The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not release the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam 2019 datesheet this week.

CBSE Class 10, Class 12 Board Exam Datesheet 2019

CBSE Board Exam 2019: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will not release the Class 10 and Class 12 board exam 2019 datesheet this week.

Once the same will be released, all the candidates can download the entire board schedule from the official website of CBSE, the link for which is cbse.nic.in

Here's what CBSE official said:

"The datesheet will not be released this week. The entire schedule will be released on the official website of CBSE in upcoming months," the board official told IndiaTodayEducation.

Board exams to begin in February:

Moreover, the board has decided to hold exams for 'skill education' (vocational) and related subjects in the second half of February from next year onwards.

The examination for the core academic subjects such as languages, mathematics, and science subjects will continue to be held in March.

The board in support of its decision cited a Delhi High Court directive which had asked it to ensure that the time of results of exams and re-evaluation are taken into account while determining the cut-off date for admissions in the colleges of Delhi University, it said in a statement.

There are about 40 skill education courses being offered by the CBSE in Class 12 and 10. "There are also certain other related subjects such as Typography and Computer Applications (English), Web applications, Graphics, Office Communication, etc where there are very few students, in fact, less than 500," as reported by IANS.

CBSE Board Results, 2018:

This year, 28.24 lakh students registered for both Class 10 and Class 12 board examination. Further, out of these, 16.38 lakh students appeared for the Class 10 boards and 11.86 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 board exams.

Further, Meghna Shrivastava of Step by Step School, Ghaziabad topped the Class 12 board examination with 499 marks out of 500. In an exclusive conversation with India Today Education, CBSE Class 12 topper 2018 said, "I am overwhelmed to see the results. I never expected that I will score 499 marks. Actually, nobody expects to score these many marks."

Moreover, Trivandrum recorded the highest pass percentage of 97.32 per cent, Chennai stood second with 93.87 per cent, followed by Delhi at 89 per cent.
