Iswaran narrate the story of tusker by saying that ,One day , one elephant escaped from timber yard and began to roam around,stamping the bushes and tearing the wild creepers. Then,he entered the main road and smashed all the small shops and stalls.Then,he entered the school playground where the children where playing after seeing the elephant the children starting running in great fear and moved into their classes.The elephant started pulling the football and volleyball net.All the children and teacher were very afraid and looking at elephant from the terrace of the school.
According to Iswaran,he was then studying in junior class. He grabbed the cane from his teacher hand and moved toward that elephant and whacked his one of the toe nails.Elephant look stunned and then he collapsed.

No,according to me this story don't seems plausible.
