Heat is transferred in solid material by conduction process, in liquids and gases it transfers by convection process and in electromagnetical waves it transfers by radiation process.

heat is the amount of energy transferred due to change in temperature. heat is transferred between a system and surrounding heat transfers in a particular direction only.

Answer:

Heat is transferred by conduction when adjacent atoms vibrate against one another, or as electrons move from one atom to another. Conduction is the most significant means of heat transfer within a solid or between solid objects in thermal contact.

Explanation: Heat is the thermal energy thatrmer object to a cooler object. Heat flows only one way, from warmer to cooler objects. Net heat transfer ends when two objects reach the same temperature (“thermal equilibrium”). I tried hope that helps you !!
