1. It consist of variety of lands from the ancient ones to the new one. It has plateau that is Peninsular plateau, mountains such as Himalayas. Northern plains, thar desert, and island. It has unstable earthquake zone, deep valleys, high peaks, rivers. It has igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks. 
2. All the physiographic areas are actually interdependent. The norther hilly are is the provider of water, the plains are source o civilization. plateaus are rich in minerals. Island provides sea food, deserts provide solar energy. 
3. Himalayas is source of water and food. It consist of various glaciers. The highest peaks are found here. It is great site for tourist as it comprises famous hill stations and valleys
