how does light make an object visible

A particle of light, called a photon, travels at the speed of light toward the object. The photon hits an atom, or particle of matter, on the object. The atom absorbs the energy from the light and releases a new frequency of light. Basically, some wavelengths of light are absorbed and some are reflected off.

when light falls on any object , the object reflects the sunlight falling on it in all directions. when the light reflect by the object enters our eyes. we are able to see object
