The chapter ‘Love Across the Salt Desert’ is a story of Najab and Fatimah. Najab was a shy and introvert person who got hesitant just by the name of a girl. He was a wallflower. But things changed when he met Fatimah.

Fatimah was a spice seller’s daughter and their first visit in Pakistan was the stating of their love at first sight. It was also the starting of Najab’s journey from a shy person to a Brave-hearted one. He crossed the border to meet her, informed his family about his feelings. He did not fear the bullets or soldiers and crossed the Runn of Kutch with his camel, Allahrakha. He conquered all the obstacles and finally met his ever cherished love, Fatimah. The geographical barriers could never make it over love and Najab had turned a street smart boy from a strangely introvert.
