How does Mid-Day Meal help to ensure equality? Describe.

The mid-day meal helps to ensure equality, as all students in the school eat the mid-day meal together. In all these students there are students of every class, whether they are rich or poor or belong to any religious sect. All the students sit and eat together. It reinforces the concept of equality.

Apart from this, the second reason is that mid-day meal also motivates those poor students to come to school, whose parents do not send them to school due to financial reasons. Due to mid-day meals, such students also start coming to school, due to which they are also attracted towards education and get educated.

Education is the surest weapon to remove inequality. The more educated he is, the more he will become aware and the feeling of inequality will be less him. In this way, the mid-day meal helps in ensuring equality.
