Perimeter of an equilateral triangle is 36 cm. Find its area using Heron's formula ​

a + a + a = 36

3a = 36

a = 36/3

a = 12 cm.

Now, if we apply Herons Formula,

12 + 12 + 12/2 = 18. ( 18 is the semi - perimeter)

2X2X3X3 root 2X3

(We consider both pairs of 2X2 as one)

6 root 6 is your answer.
