Millie Crocker Harris was Mr. Crocker Harris's wife. Seeing Taplow wait for her husband in Mr. Harris's office, she tells him that he has gone to the Bursars and will be late. She indirectly hinted at him that it is alright for him to leave and play. She even said she would take the blame, if need be. When even after all that, Taplow didn't move from the office, she told him to fetch medicines for her from the chemist. She wanted the boy to enjoy his freedom and that's how she sent him away.
