Mining disturbs ecological balance because mining is done for getting out new or old resources and if mining will overtaken again an d again the land or tunnel will make drifts itself and finally the whole thing will comes to our feet or the land you work on it, it gets an Contenantal Drift like San Andreas Drift fault you know same as like this situation so don't take easy on land or tunnel for overworking on it, it will comes to an end. I hope it's clear

Mining have contributed in land degradation leading to increase in salinity and alkalinity in the soil. They generate a huge quantity of dust in atmosphere. It retards the process of infiltration of water in the soil. And it also causes water pollution.
