well more vehicles on increase water pollution in many ways like;

1) vehicles run on fossil fuels and fossil fuels are extracted from the ocean beds, this cause harm to marine life and aquatic plants, leading towards the death of many aquatic animals and plants.

=) more vehicles = more extraction = more deaths of aquatic animal.

2) It affect the quality of water by adding up nitrogen dioxides to the water off the coast which promotes the growth of algae, starving the fish of oxygen.
