How does nonpolar oxygen gas dissolve in polar water?

CO2 is soluble because watermolecules are attracted to these polarareas. The bond between carbon andoxygen is not as polar as the bond between hydrogen and oxygen, but it ispolar enough that carbon dioxide candissolve in water.
