Ans. Adrenaline hormone is secreted in large amounts when a person is frightened, or mentally disturbed. When it reaches the heart, it beats faster to supply more oxygen to our muscles.

Explanation:

Basically adrenaline is an emergency hormone which is secreted during flight, fright and fight. when adrenaline is secreted and released into the blood it triggers a series of reactions. it increases the heart beat which in turn increases the breathing rate and makes the body ready for the emergency situation.when the amount decreases everything is brought back to homeostasis.
