Adrenalin is a hormone secreted by the adrenal glands in case of any danger or emergency or any kinds of stress. It is secreted directly into the blood and is transported to different parts of the body. When secreted in large amounts, it speeds up the heartbeat and hence supplies more oxygen to the muscles.

Here is the answer of your question

Adrenaline is also known as emergency harmone. It is secreted by adernal gland.

If we are in any danger or in emergency then adrenalin is secreted directly into the blood. After this it is transported to all parts of the body.

When it secreted into the blood in large amount then it increase the heart beat and respiration. Due to increase in heart beat supply of oxygen to the muscle also increases.

The supply of glucose also increases and even the blood pressure increases.
