It protects us from the ultraviolet rays of the sun which are very dangerous for us....Bcz these rays can destroy our skin...Ozone Layer plays a very important role in saving us from Ultraviolet rays of The sun

So we should not do pollution ...Bcz the Gases which releases from burning anyhing Can destroy the ozons Layer

Ozone layer acts as a shield against the ultra violet rays and protects the life on the earth. Ultra violet rays are emitted by the sun. These rays are intercepted by the ozone layer of the atmosphere before they reach the surface of the earth. Ozone layer absorbs harmful emissions from the sun and protects the life on the earth. Ozone layer is composed of ozone, a molecule made up of three oxygen atoms which are bonded together. When the UV rays hit the ozone layer, the molecules split up and these UV rays becomes harmless.
