penicillin reproduce sexually by means of conidia or conidiospores which are developed in condiospores.

penicillium, reproduces with the production of non motile spores called conidia. Generally they reproduce through vegetative fragmentation. And these conidia are produced from the conidiophores..which may be branched or unbranched. Hence you can see the branched structure in the books. Hope I helped. *hugs*
