How does pollution effect environment? How can we change the situation?

Pollution effect environment by global warming, greenhouse effect acid rain etc.,which caused diseases like asthma, damage our buildings,make fresh air and water polluted. We can change the situation by planting trees, by using public transport as far as possible, by giving general awareness to family and friends.
