Polythene is very harmful to our environment as well as ecosystem.Plastic or polythene takes very long period of duration or long time to degrade but not get completely destroyed.As we see waste polythenes are spread all around in our surrounding,some animals intake these waste polythene with other garbage(the food they get from wastes).
These affect their health leads to their death.Plastic or polythene is one of barrier to plants and field fertility.These wastes reduce the quality of soil and affects the plant growth .plants become unable to take proper nutrients from soil for their growth and other needs leads to plants death also.
Disturbance to plants and animals affects environment because both are dependent upon each other for thier requirements in this way polythene wastes affect our environment.
