Pyrrole resembles aromatic amines and phenols in chemical properties due to increased activity by electrophilic substitution. Pyrrole can react easily with electrophilic substitution.
The increased activity of pyrrole due to its resonance forces the electrons from the Nitrogen atom into the ring making of carbon atom of pyrrole which has more electron availability than benzene. In this manner, pyrrole resembles most reactive compounds phenols and aromatic amines.
