the temperature may vary from one place to another because of their location on map/globe. If they are near equator they may have hot and humid type of climate and if they goes more toward poles the place is not as hot as compared to the equator one.
The places on or near equator have hot type of climate because sun rays are directly reached towards them.

hope this may help you!

this is a very good question

for this u must nderstand some terms

equator

The earth is divided into two equal parts buy an imaginary line that passes through its middle this line is called the Equator

poles

we know that There are two poles  of a magnet: north pole and south pole.

in the same way earth has  two poles  of a magnet: north pole and south pole.

ocean currents :huge mass of moving water

so the reason why
wo poles  of a magnet: north pole and south pole.
 is .............................

=> the temperature is affeceted by  latitude.

=> Places nearer the Earth’s equator are far warmer than those near to the poles.

=> This is due to the shape of the Earth and the way the rays of the sun hit the planet.

=> the suns rays will be far more concentrated at the equator, as the sun is always far higher in the sky, so it will concentrate its rays on a small area.

=>  And as the sun is far lower in the sky around the poles, the rays are shared over a much larger area, and the temperatures will stay down.

another thing is

=> temperature  is affected by the water around us is the ocean currents, which also greatly affects temperature, especially in coastal areas.

there are many ocean currents
