The author claimed that it was a hard fight for the women mainly because they were undermined and not considered as workers and they were not equal to men
Explanation:
- Most women were not considered important and their only work was to look after the children and do house chores.
- They were not allowed to vote or hold any position in political office and looking after the children was the only work they had to do.
- Men had the freedom to even take part in election as well as work and they were also considered better than the women in many ways .
